Agreed! I only ever see 1 to 2 things on there at once.
SE... why in god's name is there a timer on the party finder? If the timer runs out, the party stays together, and either one of 2 things will happen:
1) Your timer has actively discouraged them and they'll give up.
2) Your timer has inconvenienced the party leader and forced him to post to the party finder again.
What possible benefit is there to timing this? It's not as if you can AFK and rake in the party joins, since, y'know, you get kicked if you're afk.
I make a point to recruit and join parties with it as much as possible =D
It's used regularly on the server I am on, shouts are mostly now "recruiting for X, join via party finder."
My average item level is only 70, so I can't join anything.
just used it to do chimera
Yeah, a few members of my FC and I who needed Chimera used it the other day. We got a good group so it worked out pretty well!
I want to use it more, I find it really hand, but there's no default key for it, a lot of players have been using "U" for the longest time, nobody really bothers to check the menu to find it, I wish it was amalgamated some way in the duty finder VIA a tab or something.
It's like an odd mix of the WoW party finder and GW2 party method (self invites, etc) -- just needs to be more obvious, right now I find it hides too well for the general populace and its infinite laziness to bother looking for it.
I did for Hydra or Chimera, it went great.
Used it for a treasure hunt today and it was a hell of alot of fun grouping with random people for little open world events like that.
it should be used more often! I only ever see two posts max on it at once. Spread the word :D
