Housing - So, who's bought one yet? - Legacy servers specifically

Just curious, who's actually purchased the plot of land for their FC yet on the Legacy servers.

For that matter, who's managed to purchase a Large?

We have the money but wont be buying a house any time soon, as it is simply idiotic to purchase a house when you know for certain the price will be cut in half (or more) in just a few months.

was wondering the same thing, but like sinth said it would indeed be dumb to buy one now

My friends and I have a small free company to ourselves so its going to take us awhile to reach enough gil for our goal, but we'll get there in the end ^_^

I went and checked on Durandal, the figures are amazing!

Number of properties purchased : 0
Percentage of FC's who own a property : 0%
Amount of gil removed from the game so far : 000,000,000,000,000,000 gil

I'm not sure what's up with that, surely SE didn't believe that no one would purchase property?

Anyhow, there are 30 plots per ward and 5 wards, which means there are 150 properties per area. so the 3 areas in total hold 450 properties. There are 1007 FC's on Durandal of which 660 have fewer than 11 members which means there are 347 FC's who have a reasonable chance to quickly obtain Rank 6 and purchase an FC property.

Yoshi's lie, err, excuse, err, reason, if the properties were too cheap, they would run out. There are 450 properties, there are 347 FC's who have a reasonable chance of obtaining Rank 6 and getting enough gil to purchase a property, that means there would be 103 properties left over, empty, void of occupants (until the FC's with <10 members finally obtain Rank 6). So, based on my math, there are enough properties to cope with possible demand, so the excuse really doesn't hold water when you work out the numbers......

behemoth looks like one free company of like 100 bought a low end small plot and that's about it

Serenity bought the house. Yes its very small, but a nice plot of land for sure. Near the NPCs and right on the beach. I'm very new to Serenity but its pretty cool having a FC house.

When you go to enter the area it'll ask you "what ward?" and you can flip through the wards where it shows "Price/Owner". None have an owner.
