You can fix FATEs, but not the ability to play the game?

So why is it that SE can fix the Crystal Tower FATE spawn times, but can't fix all these system crash and disconnection issues? I'm glad that people can now get access to Crystal Tower faster, but doesn't really matter we can't stay in the game long enough to experience it.

Getting pretty annoyed with SE's priorities right now. This is only a growing issue as more people are realizing that it isn't their computer/PS3 that is causing the issues. At least during the official launch, when all this issues were occurring with connection issues, the game was on it's free trial period. Now we are paying to not play.

It would be great to see a response, or an emergency maintenance for this, instead of everyone just scratching their heads and wondering why, after the release of 2.1, did the game become so unreliable to stay connected.

Well I think more people are playing it again so naturally the servers are a bit more stressed and hiccups are to be expected!

Its temporary i'd say, there are a group of players who will gobble up all the new content in a matter of weeks and rage quit again and the rest of us can go back to normal.

They can fix fates!? Then why are they still tedious and inane?

I was referring to the timer for the required FATEs to unlock CT. I don't think they will ever make them any fun.

I understand that more people are playing due to new content, but they fixed the servers at release to accommodate the amount of people, so stress on the server capacities shouldn't be causing all these problems.

Well FATE's may seem tedious but I could run fates forever as compared to leveling all my classes in FFXI and having to sit in the dunes for weeks getting all of them from 10-20 pulling 1 mob at a time...No matter what they do an MMO is going to be a grind somewhere. At least FATE's make me run around and actually interact as opposed to standing in one single spot for hours while someone pulls a mob. Here lizzy, lizzy, lizzy. About the most excitement you got in the dunes was when a goblin happened to run through your camp and bomb toss everyone.

It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
