As much as I love the daily system of quests, I don't love standing in the same spot for an hour waiting for a fate to spawn. It kind of defeats the purpose of casual gameplay and makes doing dailys a headache.

So this fate wasn't improved sense the hotfix last night? This is concerning.... When i was waiting on the fate for this last night, I just ran around doing other fates around. Its really interesting how much easier the fates are sense 2.1. I know they put a thing in there that the fate difficulty will scale based on how many people were in a fate previously. so sense no one ever does the fates, they are all relatively easy to solo. So I just ran around getting some seals FC rankup, while waiting. I guess that must be part of the point of putting these daily quests in to try to get people to do the fates out there. Those are all well worth it, its pretty much like doing fates in CPP.
You have to do FATEs for this too? /facedesk
and here I thought FATEs were dynamic content. Not stopgaps for quest progression.
Leave it to YoshiP to think "what can we do to include long periods of time where nothing at all happens".
Last night I was thoroughly confused by the Sylph daily FATE. I completed it 3 times and it was saying that I still had no show of completion. As the evening went on it seemed to take longer and longer for it to show. Eventually I had to abandon it and was left unable to do more dailies for the Sylphs since that was the only quest offered to me.
People complained that they want the game to be more like FFXI. Now they introduced content where you can relive the glory days of camping kings! Stand around and browse Somepage!
