Duty Finder Roulette: Exp Rewards Still too Low Compared to FATE Grinding

Duty Finder Roulette rewards need to be tuned a bit more. The amount of time it takes to level via dungeons is still quite a bit slower than FATE grinding.

Also, just two days after the patch, the amount of time it takes to get into a run is back to pre-patch levels for DPS. The reason for this is the mediocre rewards given for needed classes. The needed class rewards should be more compelling so that they actually encourage people those classes to sign up and play.

Please relook at rewards and consider further tuning.

uhhh... this is the first formal complaint thread I've seen about the DFR. I have nothing but positive views and so do a lot of people with it. 70 myths and 300 philos for just 2 runs of something its hardly anything to complain about..not to mention the DFR is for us endgame people to help out the middle to lower content people..not make speed runs easily accessible for you.. its meant for you to be a good person and help people out, not be selfish and somewhat whiny. I see no issues with the rewards. 3 runs of WP to get 300 Philos? or One DFR to get 300 Philos? Rewards seem great to me. Because of this system, I have almost all my DL jewelry now.

hmmm, as I was lvling one of my secondary jobs via the DR=low lvl I recieved 212k xp for a measley 30 mins!! this was done with a lvl 48 job in sastasha. I was shocked at the amount of xp awarded ^^
not sure if it was a bug but the reward seemed more than adequate for the effort..

OP clearly did not notice the 5-6k exp per mob if he thinks fates are faster for leveling still. sheesh.

5-6k? I am getting 700 and that is with 100% bonus due to rested exp.

That is for your first run of the day. You do not get that every run.

Ok i went from 26 -27 from one run of tam-tara. Thats pretty damn decent if you ask me and that was after i did my DFR

I did Quarn with my SCH who was over the level and got synced.
I got 3k per enemy, 8.6k per boss and more than 10k for the last boss.

This was completely without the roulette bonus.

The only way you are covering a complete level in a single instance run is with the daily bonus. Being in the 25-30 range on the classes I am currently leveling, TamTara nets me less than 1/3 of an exp bar, however, after doing about 20 runs since Tuesday, in that level range, all but 4 runs were in Sastasha, which nets less than 1/5 of the bar where there is no rested Exp and no daily bonus. Since that seems to be the most likely instance to pop on my shard at the moment, it is still far and away faster to level via FATEs in Costa than it is to run instances which is not in line with how the roulette system was advertised.

Correction, it was advertised as a real alternative to leveling against FATEs. All I am doing is reporting that is not the case at the levels in which I am working on. If people are not joining in for runs to the extent in which wait times are similar to pre-patch, then the bonuses to attract people that want to help out are flawed. And if you are expecting altruism in an MMO, you need to take a step back and look at the larger community, because "altruistic" is not in the top 50 terms I would expect to see as a descriptor. If it were, the bonuses would be completely unnecessary and DF would pop within seconds.

Using the DFR, killing the final boss automatically awarded me more than half the experience necessary to reach the next level. The amount of experience we get now is crazy.

The EXP is great and it will just get better the higher level you are. I did Sastasha on my 49drg was getting like 749 exp per kill and at the end I got 217k bonus+ like 8k or something. I did one last night on level 30 war cause the low level was tank bonus was tam tara and was like 729 exp per kill and I think it was 76k bonus+ 10k.

In a way it doesn't seem like much but those mobs you kill adds up to quite a bit. And I freaking hate FATES! Its a nice change.

So the higher level you are the higher bonus you get. Heard someone did ifrit easy mode and got over 100k for 5mins of work.
