Can you sell back your house? Seeking clarification.

So, the way I understood the patch notes, and live letters concerning the topic, you can give up your house to get a new one, and then that plot goes up for sale. I didn't think you got any of your gil back when doing that, but in game some are saying there's a way to sell back the house to the NPC, or possibly trade the deed to other players.

Is there anything official out there stating you can do this? Or that you can trade a deed with another player -after- you have been using it (like when you maybe want to upgrade from a small to a medium sized plot)? Can maybe someone who has bought a house confirm old info (there was some stuff about trading deeds in Live Letter 9) is still correct?

Only thing I saw in the patch notes was about relinquishing.

You can sell it to other players..That I know for certain.

Right, that was the Live Letter IX info I was talking about. What concerns me is the patch notes said nothing about that ability. It does say you can get rid of all the furniture and then relinquish the house, but nothing about converting it back into a deed.

oh god, can you imagine RMTs selling deeds? Jesus. I wouldn't be surprised to see this happening very soon.

From what I read, I don't have specific example you are able to sell the "plot" but NOT the house or any contents

Any one that already got an FC house have an answer to this? I realize what was said in October, but I dunno if that has actually been confirmed as implemented now.

Is there anyone who has bought a plot already and is willing to sell it? It just seems to me like anyone who already has a plot is probably planning on using it for themselves.

You don't have to sell it in order to see if you can turn it back into a deed that's tradeable, just need to pick it up I would assume.
