How long has it been?

Since the last update? Has the last update brought people back, or have sales from FFXIV gone up? I am curious to know if Square-Enix has thought about dropping the game. I'm taking a break and have been since February. No new content has been released. I hit 50 and there's still nothing to do. Devs, when is something substantial gonna get taken care of in this game? Can I look forward to server merges, doing something with advertising to bringing up the population on all the servers? Quite frankly my server Wutai is completely empty. I don't see it ever feeling up again.

Up top it says "The Lodestone" click that, You will see the last update being "Patch 1.17b Notes (05/23/2011)" which is also the last post.

Check back after the content patch, a bug/system fix is not going to bring back any players. They are happening fairly regularly but add nothing much to the game.

Check in 1-3 weeks after 1.18 is released.


They have a massive list of stuff they are adding throughout the summer posted with the start of it in 1.18, they stated they have no plans in dropping it.

As for advertising Expect it with the PS3, any before that would be a waste of money.
