An Open Letter to Yoshida-san: What can I do with a house?

What is really lacking right now is information about what we can do with houses. I think every FC is under the impression that they have to buy a large plot because they will need it for airships, crafting, bonuses, etc. The idea in the back of our heads is if we don't buy large... we will miss out on content.

My FC is the largest FC on Cactuar. The sheer size of our FC demands a large house. But what about those with small to medium FC's?

And, before the complainers start complaining... our FC is in the same boat (for those on Cactuar) as everyone else. We currently have 8 million saved (so my guess is that some of you have it better than us). We know it is a goal to save toward but we want more information about what the end goal will give us.

What might actually get people to start talking about something else besides the prices is to list (by size) what you will be able to do with the house... other than how many items you can place. I am sure that there are many small to medium FC's that if they knew they could have a crafting station and build an airship they would be focusing on buying a small or medium plot... instead of a large. This would quell some of the angst that still exists. To my knowledge, this information hasn't been shared.

If anyone has concrete information that can be quoted it would be really appreciated. Complaining in this thread about pricing is kind of a waste of time as there is an open letter about pricing. Go do it there. Let's try to show Yoshida-san that we are a community who cares about content... not just pricing.

Please Yoshida-san... help us understand what we are saving for.

I don't think Yoshida himself knows what he's doing with FC house.

It would be cool if a full party was required of DOH to build an airship, hell make it an alliance

Last night, I was actually talking with the leader of my Free Company about the exact same thing. We are located on Sargatanas and we really need to plan ahead to decide wether or not we should go for a medium or large lot. If the features for the medium lot are the same as the large one, then we'll probably go for the medium sized lot. Otherwise we'll go for the large one. For instance, we want to know if we can have a crafting station, Chocobo stables and/or a shop in either of the lots before we decide which lot to go for.

Crafting station? Is that a specific thing they've mentioned somewhere? You can just craft anywhere inside the house.

This is exactly why I was hoping this thread would get more attention. I did forget to mention chocobo stables as well.
Really hope people start having a dialog about this instead of just glancing it over.

I really don't understand why people aren't showing interest in this thread. It seems like people are super concerned about pricing but they don't even know what they are buying. Please comment here so the developers understand that it is important to you to know what each house size will offer.
