Last night I was getting a lot of this on the Odin server too. Was doing Hydra and was under it for Fear Itself but still got hit. The server positioning check has certainly not been improved. Not sure on the exact timings but if for example Fear Itself takes 6-7 seconds to cast, it can take you around 3-4 seconds to get into position, leaving around 2 seconds of cast time but the server still thinks your outside the area because it last checked your position 3 seconds ago so you still get hit even though you've been sniffing Hydras rear entrance for the last 2.7 seconds :(
ive been getting extremely bad lag non stop no matter where i am or what im doing since 2.1 on ps3
Lagging in Titan hard mode last night too. I was out of its aoe and halfway from finished the spell and I would still get hit by plumes even land slide
I've always had server delay issues, but since 2.1 on the PS3, this game has become unplayable. If this isn't fixed, I will be forced to cancel.
Same. Getting non-stop lag ever since 2.1 update. I've only ever had connection issues with the game at launch, and those were widespread and aptly fixed.
Gonna add a +1. Same over here since 2.1. Constant lag spikes.

Never had so much lag since launch.
It's making the game almost unplayable for me especially with the loading screens. It's like a 10-15 sec wait for me each time
I warp or skip a cutscene. I've even been locked out of Boss battles just waiting for the loading screen to finish after skipping it and
just general running around is buggy with music and sound effects cutting in and out and riding an invisible chocobo after warping.
Please look into this.
