Please bring back press enter>sub-menu

I miss being able to hit enter on my target to bring up sub-menu, please allow this option

All of this subcommand menu nonsense needs to stop. Just have the X button open that menu instead.

I like how it is, at least for gamepads. X confirms target only and square opens up the target menu.

before 2.1 the X button did open the sub-menu. and it was changed with good reason. there was no need to have both Square and Cross to open the sub-menu. plus Cross allowed for easy mistakes of opening the menu.

though i can't comment on the keyboard thing. my guess is that they had the X button work in the same way as the keyboards Return/Enter button.
