Crystal Tower...

Is an absolutely fantastic raid. Loot lock-out aside the fights are amazing and I love that you can't clear fights with half your alliance dead (like WoW). The only thing that kills it is the fact the content will always be easier than Coil because the raid itself is much more fun. It would be awesome to see HM versions of the fights once they allow you to enter with a full premade group, I don't even care if the loot is still lower ilvl than coil, it would be incredible to do harder versions of these fights with added mechanics.

It's a shame the first floor is almost like a fate, and trying to coordinate 23 other people to not just zerg the mobs like they learned in their fates is the most difficult part of the fight.

I think it will be very enjoyable in 2-3 weeks when the fights was understood already.

The boss fights in this game really are top in class for a MMO and 2.1 just gave us a whole slew of even better ones on top of the great ones we already had with CT and the hard mode dungeons.

It really is a shame that they can't get the itemization and rewards figured out though because it really does unfortunately dampen the entire experience after you down'd that boss and get chests full of crap nobody is going to use and instead they are just going to turn in their tomes to some random NPC for gear that is better or just as good as anything that comes out of boss chests.

Best dungeon in game atm, maybe best i've ever played. The mechanics in boss fights require decent team work and actually communicating in your team instead of zerging through everything. Loot lock outs aside I think its one of the most nostalgic dungeons with the best boss fights in the game, nostalgic just because of the past final fantasy crystal towers and all.

Final boss in this section of ct i will say is very very well done.

I've been trying this dungeon since yesterday and I've never gotten to the final boss. the majority of the groups i get into never make it past the bone dragon and quit because they don't want to learn the fight and expect to get carried. the farthest i ever got in ct was when you have to face a bomb and 3 ads but after the raid got blown to bits people left and time ran out.

the last run i had we were stuck on bone dragon, the skeletons were too fast and kept killing the raid, i tried to explain the fight(but it's hard on ps3) luckily my friend knew the mechanics and tried to organize the alliances on different platforms but one Dragoon just said "Guys, this boss is easy lol i got my DRG drop from this easy ass fight LMAO! the solution is simple......ZERG RUSH!" the drg then uses his jump attack on the boss and it wiped everyone causing the fastest 24 man ragequitting i have ever seen.

am i the only one here with bad luck? i honestly have no problem myth capping off of crystal tower because i find it fun(sort of) but freakin pugs....

I still don't understand the mechanics of most of the fights even after clearing it. The second last one was the only tricky one due to extra mechanics being done as for the final boss all I can say is they need to make more aoe circles that interesting. Also if you love raves then you'll love the final boss in CT.

Just recently beating CT (and on my first attempt at CT) with my FC and some people they picked up. The fights are certainly the best in my opinion. Each one requires a very high amount of communication and team work to get pass the fights.

From the loot drop now it does seem small for 1 loot per week but I'm guessing they're going for 1 loot per week per floor so once the next floor of CT is released we will be able to obtain 2 loots from CT since we get 1 loot per floor.

That doesn't make much sense. The next floor is going to be higher ilvl. No one is going to really bother with the first floor anymore.

Some people will find use for the lower floor gears for their alts as well.

You may have no use for them but others will when it comes to alt classes.

The only thing I found kind of silly about it was the 3-4 tanks standing around with nothing to really do on some of the boss fights. This is one reason I'd like to see HM versions of the fights, possibility of making use of the extra tanks, or hopefully at higher levels they make the groups split up more.
