To elaborate what my friend is going through. They are trying to play FFXIV on a macbook and whenever they start the launcher up they get a distorted split screen with off colors.
This is extremely impeding on their play time as they JUST subbed for a month and can't even play. -

System requirements are for Windows PC, there is no Mac version of this game
edit, just looking at your screenshot, you are using an unofficial wine wine wrapper, so you are taking a bit of a risk -

i would report this to who made the mac client. here you'll hardly find anyone able to help probably.
and even if they subbed it was at their own risk, SE never said to support mac. -
