How Can I Make my Fairy act like it USED to? :-(

You know,

when it would follow me around, cast embrace when needed, but not the other spells until requested.

Is that too much to ask for? :'-(

Target an enemy with Obey. Sadly this is the only thing I have found that brings it back to being close to the way it was before 2.1.

But then I need to still

-tell it to follow me
-tell it to cast embrace

Somehow, it used to be smart enough to do those things on its own :(

Frankly, if I have to micro-manage everything my pet does, then why even have a pet?

It just feels like some extra spells I have that technically only work when this fairy has been summoned.

It feels much less like a team effort between me and Eos now :(

Eos will still cast embrace on her own while under the effects of obey when HP triggers her, like she did before.

Obey is fantastic. Works great with Eos.

What's annoying now is Selene. She'll properly autocast both of her buffs and alternate them now, but you can't manually tell her to use Embrace. If you set her to Obey to manually Embrace, then you need to manually do the buffs as well.

Oh well, just take it as one more thing to learn and master that makes the difference between a good Scholar and a great one.

Yea, I noticed this last night as well, seems like they broke the healing pets control and AI.. :(

I think for selene you can have her on obey then make macro with both spells and /wait 30 in between and then an echo to let u know when soon finished so u can cast again... havent worked out yet how to do that

Turn 4 was so ANNOYING!!

I didn't realize for a while why my commands didn't work, until I realized I had to keep resetting obey!!

Every time the enemy dies, off goes obey, and with the new enemies, I have to spend the first few seconds restting obey when I would rather be on the tank! :(

Eventually, figured it all (used obey on dreadnaughts cause they lived longest) and we got through it, but man - frustrating!!!

Also, during turn 1 - Eos keep drifting off in the distance for some reason >.>

Maybe because I used obey without heel, so it set place?

Why does obey set place? :(

You dont have to KEEP pressing Obey on every new set of mobs. You press Obey once and it stays on Obey until it dies.

Notice I am referring here to my experience in coil turn 4.
