Before 2.1, the HQ chance for unspoiled node is perception 320. However, it seems that this requirement has increased as full HQ gathering gears (321 perception) only gives 0% (not 0.1%).
At least, this happens for Darksteel node. I do not need HQ material for my crafting. However, I would like to know if this is intended.
