iLVL Requirement for Dungeons

I'm quite sure you guys might be finding this same issue, but I've been using Duty Roulette and today I got into Haukke Manor HM, which was alright. The problem was that the bard that fell in my group used his UNIFNISHED Artemis Bow to get in, while was wearing a lot of lvl 37 gear (two pieces of his AF gear, two armor pieces we dropped in that dungeon -didn't see which armor he entred, since i don't check everybody ever-, jewelry between lvl 37 and 40+, none lvl 50). The result was that we could not kill the last boss because we were reaching the "enrage" and no matter how we did, we could not pull enough DPS to kill her. The only other weapon the bard had was a lvl 44 GC bow.

So, I think SE need to review how this "Average Item LVL" is calculated and also put some restriction on the relic quest unfinished weapon, so people won't be using them to bypass the ilvl necessary for the dungeon. I'm not trying to be elitist here, but I don't think it's fair with the other 3 people in the group. The dungeon isn't hard, nobody rages or anything, it's just we couldn't pull enough DPS for THAT boss. :(

Damn. Someone already thought about abusing it. What's wrong with the players these days. -.- On another note, doesn't it require ilevel 48 and the bow is only 50? It shouldn't have pulled the other gears up. I think he has the gear but wanted to troll you guys so he changed it after entering cause the average ilevel is calculated correctly from what I can tell.

Sometimes in roulette you get the bullet.

In all seriousness I had this happen in normal duty find only it was the tank in level 30 gear.

I'm going to try when I get home queueing in a bikini and see if it actually places me somewhere it shouldn't. Does it only look at the weapon when queuing?

It's supposed to take their overall iLevel. The dungeon isn't tuned that tightly. The unfinished artemis bow should have been fine if he was rotating cooldowns. My dps on my level 40 bard in crap gear is higher than I see on a lot of level 50 bards. Did they have mana or TP song up at all? Because that will nerf their dps considerably too.

If their avg ilvl is above 48 they can get in. It is not set that high.

1.wear high level gear and queue for a dungeon
2.remove/wear lower ilvl gear before joining
