Regarding the top level treasure hunts that recommend a party to defeat the mob that pops - is there a need/greed system for the loot from the chest? Does the person who originally had the treasure map to begin with have any priority on non-gear related loot such as minions, etc. ? Or do all party members simply get the same loot?
You can need/greed on the loot in the chest. One of the ones our party did today had 8 coke in it and i got em :D Every member gets gil and there's a bunch of random items that will randomly go to players when you open the chest as well. Examples like rose gold nuggets/darksteel nuggets HQ and Spruce Lumber HQ were some of the things that can drop.
Seems like to me it would be better for the 8 coke to be split amongst members. I guess I should just do them in a FC group so we get everything.
We did it in a group of 4 and all of us had our own Piesteskin map so it was agreed that whoevers map = their treasure chest. I just got lucky ^^ Was a fun half hour tho :D One of the chests spawned a chimera xD That was exciting!
Yeah I did some tonight with the FC as well. Quite fun. To bad the 8 man treasure hunts don't really require 8 man. 4-6 is more then enough :)
