Downloaded the patch then error, then redownloading the patch as if nothing happened.

Hi. I am really frustrated with this. After waiting for the download to be completed then having the error and realizing that I have to start all over again is such a pain in the a**.

Consistently having a pop up with an error that states "The server is not responding. For assistance with this issue, please visit the SQUARE ENIX Support Center. http://sqex.to/x4w [30413][10009][10019]"

Someone having the same occurrence? Damn.

i closed my PS 3 and want to start all over again
and now it comes on the screen '' character confiq data is corrupt , please exit the game and delete character confiq data "
what it means to start all over again or what i dont know ??

Yaellogy, Yeah ever since the 2.1 patch. I hope SE has the patch on the net for PC uses to down load cause their launcher and/or server system does not seem up to the task or is over loaded, but I have not been able to download the 2.1 patch(or latest patch) as of yet.

You ended up turning off he PS3 while it was working with your character config, so you'll have to go into your PS3 save data area and delete the character config.
This will not cause you to start over again (level and quests and stuff are stored on the server), but will cause you to lose your hotbar setup, hud setup, macros, that sort of thing.
Note that if you happened to have backed it up to the cloud (if you have PS+), you can get it back from there and it should work fine.

Still trying here and no luck.

I managed to download 640MB/2GB already.

The download speed is 0.01MB/s up to 0.3MB/s.

After many many tries in which the download wasn't up for more than 10 minutes, I reached ~1230MB/1361.94MB today, then the download crashed again.
Started anew: 0/1361.94MB...

That's just frustrating. Why is it not possible to do it like in XI where you download 2k files, but progress isn't lost in case the download crashes?

It wouldn't be that bad if it would resume the download but starting again at 0 is infuriating.

This is the only mmo in 2013 that still make you start over from 0.
