Has anybody figured out how to do the last boss? What do the crystals do that spawn in the room? The worm seems to eat them but it does not seem to do anything. We tried setting the crystals right under the boss and it didn't do anything either.

Has anybody figured out how to do the last boss? What do the crystals do that spawn in the room? The worm seems to eat them but it does not seem to do anything. We tried setting the crystals right under the boss and it didn't do anything either.
The crystals have to be picked up periodically and placed on the sand, the worm eats them. IF you do not feed the worm then the party will take a massive AOE damage. if you feed the worm too quickly you will run out of crystals before the boss dies. This also depends on your DPS being strong enough to kill the boss before crystals run out.
There is an emote about the worm searching for prey, that is when you drop a crystal and run away from it.
What they said, its basically a tank and spank with 1 member handling adds and crystals. brd is wonderful for this since they can get crystals out and train the adds around and burn them down on the non-sandy parts so they take no worm pass-by dmg. If you don't have a brd, just have the tank pull the adds and have the melee burn them down, they die fast and have 1 person dedicated to keep crystals up.
Once you get the hang of it, its ridiculously easy
Once the worm searches for fodder that's when you feed the crystals too it. It stops the sandstorm aoe. My group did this but unfortunately wasn't able to dps the boss enough before the crystals ran out
Yes just feed dem crystals when the message "searching for fodder" pops and the worm wont do anything. Then its just kill boss and the adds. We did blm limit on the last phase where 2 adds popped and won easily the 2nd try after finding he crystal mechanic out.
