Selene embrace macro?

I've made the eos physick/embrace macro no problem, but when trying to use the macro on Selene, an error displays saying my pet can't use that skill. I assume this means it's trying to access embrace from eos' skills. Am I missing something? Or is this a problem out of my control?

I wondered if this would happen. The skills are actually different but the same name. Since if you set the Embrace to your HotBar you had to switch the it when you switched Eos and Selene. Looks like my worries are well founded? I have not had a chance to log in since update.

Did you specifically wrote the pet name into the macro? The macro I've made works on both eos and selene without trouble.

That's how my macro looks. Works fine on eos, as soon as I try Selene, she errors out and I just cast physick

Can you make a video showing that you are able to use Selene's Embrace with that macro? I've been trying to figure this out as well and can't seem to find what's up with it. I want to say it's a glitch on the dev's end of it. Anyways, I wrote down exactly what you have and I still get the error. What platform do you play on?

The Steady->Obey->Steady tactic lasts until your faerie dies or is resummoned, ergo as long as you remember to target an enemy, press obey, then press steady ONCE, you should be fine. This will make your pet listen to you, and will allow your pet to free cast embrace but nothing else. If you do this with Eos out and your macro works fine then doesn't when you summon Selene, remember she has to be told to obey again. If you are using Selene though, I would suggest putting her on Sic as this will allow her to cast all of her abilities on rotation, even the skill speed one.

I do like that Selene can basically autocast her spell/skill speed abilities on rotation, but is there no way to have your cake and eat it too? In other words, set Selene (or Eos) on Sic, but also retain the ability to manually cast Embrace, such as on a Tank at 85% HP instead of the 70% auto-trigger? It looks as though when set on Sic, a pet cannot be manually controlled at all.

I've had no problems casting Embrace with just one macro. Are you making sure you're putting your fairy on Obey after switching them?

Also don't forget to account for Embrace's longer cooldown. If you heal immediately after you finish casting then her heal will not be ready yet.

You need to check the patch notes again for proper syntax. Pet name might have to be in the /petaction line.

Also yes, need to be in Obey.

you want to put embrace 1st in the macro
