Any Info On New Mount Or Minion Acquisition?

Haven't seen anyone post on this yet. Has anyone learned how to acquire the new mounts and minions?

Pretty sure the mounts are from beast tribe quests. Along with two minions for the corresponding beast tribe. You can get the coeurl kitten from a quest in Aleport.

Oh I was just about to post this question <3 I know the Drake and the Gobbue (forgive my spelling) are from reputation with the beast tribes from dailies. I've seen someone with the tonberry minion but no word on how they got it. The Kitten and puppy are from a quest in Aleport.

From what I can gather, drake and laurel gobbue are purchased from the beastmen vendors by doing enough beastmen-quests, but don't quote me on that. Behemoth is a veteran reward for subbing for 270 days (at the moment, the only way you can do this is to register a time card to give you that amount of subscription time up front). As for minions, I know the 'minion of light' is the 180 veteran reward. Other than that, I have no idea sadly.

I can confirm that Bluebird came from a level 50 treasure hunt, in the Larkscall area of the shroud.

You can get the dog/cat minion from the Aleport quest. Takes like two minutes to do them.

What I'd like to know is where did the morbol and flan minions go?

I know where they were, but I recently ran Vale and the baby morbol is gone and they moved Dodore's wings to after Coincounter. And someone in my linkshell noted that the mini flan wasn't in Wanderer's, either. So as of now I don't know what drops them anymore.

Minions from treasure hunts sure adds some excitement there. Too bad there's the lockout, would have been nice if the maps were actually rare instead of seemingly guaranteed when the lockout is not active (need an excuse to grind out the gathering achievements). Though I guess the higher level ones are harder to get if you keep passing on the lower ones you find, didn't try that.
