Healer PvP is garbage...

There is no damn point to even play a healer in PvP, and as for it being the only class I want to play, I am pretty damn disappointed in this. I was anticipating this for a long time, and its just bad... You just sprint until someone catches you, once they catch you, you die in one damn stun or silence or interrupt. There is literally nothing more to it. Can't believe I wasted my time and money for this... I always loved to do PvP because PvE just gets so boring... I didn't want a game mode where my objective was to RUN until someone caught me... Absolutely pitiful.

Not sure what you were expecting, bro. In a mob group, your party focuses down the healer first, too, yeah?

PVP is where healers learn and develop their "kiting" skills. LOL (sarcasm) :P

In a TEAM DEATH MATCH, the only thing a healer can do is try to outlast the other team's healer. Haha. The only time it's fun being the healer in pretty much any PVP is when killing IS NOT the primary objective -- ie. Huttball in SWTOR.

PvP in any game as a healer sucks. You role changes from healer to tank, and the tank gets ignored

Still find it funny people had high hopes for pvp

This. In each and every game's pvp everybody's on the healer lol, I don't see anything unusual or surprising. Honestly after trying it myself here I was surprised I managed to survive so long with having no clue on what to do and being bad at pvp in general...I remember in Aion I didn't even have the time to see people coming. Maybe it's cause here people still has to learn and to get geared but yeah, seems nothing special to me.

still at work =/ so I apologize if this is a stupid question but:
can you go as CNJ for PvP? I was thinking of doing CNJ over WHM for PvP for the following skills: Foresight, Featherfoot, Flash, Mantra, Second Wind, Awareness, Surecast, Swiftcast, Virus, E4E.

What I've learned from many, many years of PvP in MMOs...you just don't bring a healer. You will always be public enemy number 1 because you are the class that's preventing the sole goal of PvP...killing people.

If you are new to MMOs and didn't expect this, you will learn to accept it in time. The only environment where healers have a sliver of a chance to be effective are large scale faction/guild fights. 4v4 be prepared to be extremely disappointed.

not every mmo falls for this trap. Secret World (which was a highly underappreciated game), actually did a great job with PVP in that all roles could be played in some form in PVP and not just be a zerg fest of kill the healer.

Yea I haven't played any other MMOs but totally expected this to be the general strategy in PvP. Least I have some other classes to play as if I wanted to play, not likely at this rate, though.
