2.1 and FFXIV community

So I took a break, figured I'd come back and enjoy the new 2.1 content.

Rolled into Pharos Sirius, which, mind you, I'm over geared for due to me wearing full i70 gear with 3 pieces of i90 and my +1.

Now, this is a pug, so I expected some wipes due to NEVER HAVING DONE THE DUNGEON BEFORE BECAUSE IT CAME OUT HOURS AGO.

Party fills with two full allegan bros from some server, idk, and we indeed have a few wipes.

The two allegan guys immediately rage on us, telling us we suck and to learn the mechanics.

Stay classy FFXIV. Guess it's back to all FC runs for me.

Pretty much. I dont PUG anymore. this community is pretty horrible, just take a glance at the boards 10 hours after patch dropped.

The whiny, entitled ("me-me-me, my money, my time, waah"), unreasonable and pathetic behavior displayed on this forum in the last couple of days has been disheartening. Thankfully, forums are usually a reflection of the worse part of an MMO's community. The average experience in game is much different than what you see portrayed here for the most part. People come here in droves to cry and complain daily.

I guess I'm just lucky. Just did a Pharos run with a PUG, and while we had a few wipes too, no one lost their cool and we eventually got the win!

In three hours of playing, I'm up to 17 commendations so far! Half of which came on THM. So people saying only tanks and healers would get votes are flat out wrong. Being nice breeds a better community. Kill em with kindness!
