How to pass this phase?

Kill those Magitek's. Isn't that obvious? Or didn't you try this at first?

Kill the lasers. Stack in one spot so you know roughly where they're all going, focus fire them down until they die, go back to the boss.

This was funny enough the same assesment I made after watching the screenshot lol. I also still have to log in the game.

omg I have to try killing this with all lasers up with my FC now. o.o That was always one of my favorite part with Ultima Weapon.

how's the part where he disappears? and purple orbs form in a diamond?
How do we clear that part?

The lazers will self-destruct after a while, with an "almost" raid wide explosion. You can dps down the lazers (which is quite tough to crack, but it can take damage, not immune) or wait for it to explode.

each ball when you hit ~7k dmg
4 ball needed = 28k dmg
you can share with 7 ppl = 4k per person, (excluding sacred soil)

you'll need fast communication which to explode first and whm can "cure 3" over. 1 good cure3 can heal all 7 and will survive the rest.

Or... you can have paladin hallow ground and run them all..

To the OP.

All should be at the ring and kill 1 by 1. Make sure your tank rotate stack nicely during this phase.

The orb damage eats through Hallowed Ground. At least, in my experience so far. Every time I've popped it to try and eat orb damage, I still get slammed. I can mitigate the hell out of the damage with SS and cooldowns, but HG has done nothing for me.

Yeah all other cd's seemed to work for my pally, all but hg. We downed it today. A theory was that you have to wait for the orbs to get really close then pop them, which will cause less damage. the further they are apart, the more dmg they do. Lots of people suiciding for the team lol. Used blm LB 3 on the last phase of magitek lasers but there is probably a more optimal time to use it. Pretty easy fight though after a couple tries. 80 item at end and some tomes.
