Could be just me, or has this not been implemented in this game yet?
I'm trying to patch the 3GB 2.1 patch, and the patcher keeps breaking. This is really frustrating as I have been trying to patch all day. Regardless, I don't see a reason why this has not yet been implemented. It's really frustrating to have to start from zero all over again.
my advice never try smt the same day.. as a rule i give extra 12h .. by thrm normally we know how to deal and it mostly work
You can kind of bullshit your way into it if you're willing to take the use-at-your-own-risk route. If the download fails or d/cs, before starting the launcher back up again copy the partial file to another folder. Then start updating again, and after it nukes the partial file but before it writes the first chunk to it(I want to say it does this every 4MB, but don't quote me on that) overwrite the new 0KB one with the copy. The launcher will be confused as hell but eventually pick back up where it left off. I make no guarantees this won't break something horribly given the sloppy nature of the work-around, but it's how I had to do the initial install/update of the game at launch when I couldn't stay connected to the servers to save my life.
And agreed, there is zero excuse for standard resuming to not be supported.
Still can't pathc keeps breaking...this is so 1997 take you all day to patch. I feel with this game that I keep going back in time, but when i look in the mirror I am just older and more pissed off.
I've had same problem.... since the download is up which is 2 AM until now (8 PM), i got a lot of unable to patch, error [34013][10009][10009] and still 2 GB left. I've done changing router, modem, try what SE suggested, delete folder patch, my internet is really fine no RTO but still none of that works :(
Same errors also just did everything they asked and not working...time to go back to bed. Maybe I will just wait for the my next day off...Xmas.
Last night, I started to download the patch, with the download being 3 GB. I got a third of the way through and my internet connection went down. Started it again this morning, and found I now had 2 GB left to download so apparently it downloads some, and at some point stops and installs those files, then starts downloading again. So there must be some element of interrupted download resume there.
Ahh if I could only get beyond 164MB and it saved, life would be grand!

yea, why se can't make a download pick up where it left off, like oh i don't know, any other download on the internet, is beyond me.
Went 1479/3017 MB downloaded. Then it broke. Again. For the fourth time today.
Some games also come with an external downloadable patch file, which also comes with it's own self-installer, when run it will apply the patch for you. Would be good if they at least had this patch file released via something like torrents or similar.
