Remember to check the data center that belongs to your server

A data center selection menu has been added to the title screen.
If you have characters on multiple Worlds, please select the appropriate data center for the character you wish to play as before logging in.
If a record of your most recent login still remains, the appropriate data center will be selected automatically.

Well hopefully enough people knows about this since this seems like a info easily skipped.

Still i wonder how will combiningg severs now to make a much larger server community will affect the economy for these new Servers.

I think you misread this, they're not merging the servers, just clustering them together for log-ins. This is purely to reduce strain on the servers for log-ins, nothing else.

(Possibly instances too)

We're not sharing an economy.

Uh, what are you talking about... The data centers are used solely for logging into the game. If you choose the 'wrong' data center, you simply won't be able to log into your server--no harm done. Back out and choose the correct data center and then log in.

They're not combining servers. It's just moving servers to data centers. This is an efficient way to help with lag and stuff.

I better be careful when I log in, I don't want my character to get magically moved to a new server. Just hilarious.

Maybe this'll fix the random disconnect issue one of my friends kept experiencing lol.

Newp. This is just for the 'NA/EU unavailable' where too many people are pinging each server causing too much stress.

If your friend is DC'ing they might be experiencing a connection issue such as Packet Loss.
