Different Point of View for patch 2.1! Is SE taking the game in the Wrong Direction?

So let me begin, i hope you people have the nerves to read what i will say and i hope i make the things understandable, so that there wont be any misunderstanding!

There are meany posts witch complain or not about patch 2.1 ,but they all concentrate in one thing! That why i decided to open a new thread !

SE is turning the game into grinding festival ! Why i think so i will get to the point soon enough !

Im a casual player, i have ca. 1h-3h play time so i was really really happy when i saw the live letters for patch 2.1 ! But in the end the all turned to be a nightmare !

For the FC housing i was thinking it was great idea from SE! Im the master of FC where are all my real life friends are and also a lot of really really nice people witch i met in the game. We thought that we could gather gills and buy the land where by helping each other with the crafting we could build our houses and also having fun visiting each other house and doing fun stuff in the district!
And when i saw the prices i was really angry im still angry! There is no excuse for such thing simply none, i paid for the full game and also i pay for each months and for my country also for a lot of my friends 15$ is a lot of money! All the features need to reachable for your players if you are going to add them, they all pay you money! So that the FC cant get the simplest land plot this is a scam from SE side, the simplest land plot need to be for free, i have never seen MMO with housing where people cant get the simplest house!
Nobody expected to get the best land and best building on day one, we all knew that this should be hard to get, but what SE did is simply....well i have no words!
For me housing was a really nice and fun content witch could get me busy for a lot of months, years if you want to say, eventually we will want to gather resources the get to the big houses! And now you can forget it i dont have the time or the nerves to GRIND for money 20h a day !

About the jobs, buffs and nerfs, i cant say much because im not competent enough for such things also i dont have the knowledge for that! So i suppose this for the skilled players and SE to be discussed.
I play the class witch i like the cloths and the skill animations (^_^)


For the new quests and story i was excited, i am still but not so much...why !
Well i was thinking that with the new story will come new area maps, new monsters new places to explore but as it seems it wont happen! The treasure hunt is really nice idea, but can you tell me why the maps are locked for 18h, where is the logic in this....will they give us 100k gills or super rare items ?
Also the traibes quests will be fun for couple if times but still nice idea im happy about them maybe they can turn them into something more!

I am not going to mention PVP because i hate it and i will never do it! But i know that a lot of people like it so i hope is well done for them!
But i will mention hair salon witch is really sweet!


So after all this i want to make clear why i thing that FF14 is turning into a fully GRIND game !

After we finish with the quests, exploring and crafting when we bring all our craft classes to lvl 50, what exactly do we get !

We need to grind like hell for armors and weapons and stones in dns, do them over and over again 100k times ! Crafting at this point is well pointless, the dn gear is so much better nobody will buy crafted gear, furniture was an option for this patch but who will buy it or for what reason will you craft it when nobody has a home...i wonder why (sarcasm) ! The only proper working content they are adding is the new dns CT witch is also sort of a dn for grinding!

With all this dn grinding FF14 resembles more Vindictus....for those who dont know know it, its only dn game and for crafting matirials you need to grind like hell same dn over and over again! And i hate that !

I want to ask SE why.....FF14 for me has some of the best crafting system and ideas for crafting....why are they ignoring it and destroing it ! If all FC could get a houses as example we could start crafting furniture, if you add recepies for armor, weapons, witch are compatible with dn once or toys and such thing will be so good and fun!
But no let make more dn for more grinding ! And let the market be destroyed !

I played a lot of MMOs and quit them, reasons were either they were focused on pvp example Aion and i hate pvp they were forcing me to do it, or they are focused only in Grinding like Vindictus and Dragon Neest for example !

My hope was on FF14 i was in betas for 1.0 and 2.0 and really liked it and i saw that could turn to be really great game, but what is happening why are they destroing the game! And i really like FF game like FF7,10,11,12,13.....i like alot FF14 but i hate grinding!
