Unable to complete version check [30410][30607][20457][404]

I left my PC while downloading the patch and when I came back I am getting this error.

Unable to complete version check [30410][30607][20457][404]

No idea what happened but I need to know how to fix it. I tried restarting the client, restarting my PC, and deleting the patch file but nothing is working. I just keep getting this error.

Usually version check errors require you to replace your boot folder in your FFXIV game folder with one from a working copy. Saves re-downloading everything. Here's a link to mine after patching. Trying replacing your boot folder with this one.

Thanks if this works. Unfortunately I had to go to work for 12 hours tonight and cant try this until I get back home in the morning. Crossing my fingers this fixes it

looks like its out of date it wanted to download again after i put it in might wanna update it

I am having the same Issue

Im also having this error.

My computer froze yesterday while finishing downloading this patch so maybe that was part of the problem.

Update: I uninstalled and installed again with the game installer and worked fine, had to download 12G but oh well... Worked for me.

Try right-clicking and running as administrator. Sometimes Square does not make the right call to request elevated permissions.

As for you Val, if this happens again just make a copy of your "Game" folder under the root install directory and after the reinstall copy it back in. Anyone who played on 1.0 is probably all to familiar with that issue.

Good call! I was getting this error after trying to re-run the launcher after it updated and this got past the error!
