Accountant's would handle processing mortgages at interest rates which are then goverened by the game servers.

Real Estate agents could haggle to get people plots of lands and housing and get approved for financing. And in the event that a house is being forclosed on, they can buy them at a discount, or short sales etc, and flip them, relist them on the market.

There should be a class that gets to sell assets for a guy who failed to make his mortgage payment and he gets a commission of the sales. If nobody's willing to pay above a certain threshold then the Bank of Eorzea now owns your Relic or whatever you have that is valuable.
