A few questions about 2.1

I know the patch has not been released, so people might not be able to answer these questios. But I figured maybe I missed some dev posts or something and you guys didnt.

1. Can you use DF or something like it for PVP?

2. Wasn't furniture supposed to bring some bonuses to stats and or exp gain?

3. I think the answer is yes because of ilevel requirements, but is it safe to assume that even the weakest of extreme primals will be tougher than HM titan?

4. Are we getting a new relic of some sort? I read that when you beat each new primal you get a new item, and those three items will be traded for gear.

5. The patch notes says that in order to obtain tomestones from Roulette you must have at least one lv 50 character. Does that mean that if I have one, my non-lv-50 characters will obtain tomes through roulette?

6. Also, roulette says you can only get certain bonuses once a day from the roulette. Are these bonuses higher exp or does it mean you can only get tomes from roulette once a day? i will be seriously disappointed if it is the latter.

7. Can someone tell me what the type in the notes meant to say in regards to the lancer changes? It lists 5 changes, but one is copy pasted text. i think the original japanese notes corrected it.

8. They added new dyes but we still cant change the color of end game content right?

9. what is the punishment for abusing the kick out feature? And how will it be determined if it was abused, by game moderators reviewing the chat log or something?

10. any word on fixing the armoire? i cant deposit most of my unique items in there.

11. what is the enable hot bar cycling button? does this mean that i can set a hot bar and not reach it via cycling, only through holding R2? (oh god pls!)

Let me just take this opportunity to say "screw the haters". Im in love with all the content that is coming out in 2.1. If all updates in the future will be as extensive as this one, FFIV will easily become one of the greatest games ever

A lot of your questions are answered in the patch notes, but I'll give it a shot:

1.) Yep! You can be in a DF group and you'll be matched up with other DF groups. A DF group can't be matched up with a premade, though.
2.) Uhhhh I don't remember that being a thing and I don't think it would make much sense.
3.) Yep! Though, it is hard to tell just based on gear ilvl requirement. For example, Titan Extreme might be harder than Ifrit Extreme, but Ifrit EX requires a higher gear ilvl. Also based on gear ilvl alone, Ultima is harder than Titan HM.
4.) There's a quest chain for a new ilvl 90 weapon, whether that's a new Relic or not remains to be a mystery.
5.) Probably not, but couldn't tell you for sure.
6.) You can only get 1 bonus from each category a day, iirc.
7.) No idea on this one.
8.) Yep!
9.) I think there's a lockout for 40 minutes on using the kick feature, so you can't repeatedly kick people over and over from the instance. You can also report any abuse of it and it'll be handled by SE.
10.) Yep, I think it's actually in the notes what new items you can store in the armoire.
11.) No idea on this one either.

Thanks for the help. I think that it makes no sense NOT to have bonuses for your house furniture. Maybe not so much for fighting stats, but maybe for increase rate of tomes or gil or leves. I know logically that makes no sense why furniture would affect that, but im thinking on a practical level. is something like housing and furniture really worth all that trouble if its only function is visual?? I feel there has to be more incentive to it.

Can I get an answer from someone else on number 7? Im mainly a drg so i would really like to know what they other change is, specially since im not too happy with the changes made to drg.

If they add bonuses with the uproar about prices it's gonna be fun to watch the forums melt.

Housing bonus is actually from Towers and Parks which requires players to place them into the house to obtain the bonus the different Towers and Parks provides.

We will have to wait and see what Towers and parks are and what each will provide. So far we know FC and Personal Housing will have different Towers and Parks for different bonuses. FC bonus is given to the entire FC members while Personal benefits from Personal Towers and Parks are only for your character alone.

FC will be restricted on how many Towers and parks they can place into the FC house by their FC level.

Personal Housing placement for Towers and Parks is currently unknown.
