So, uh.. How about that Christmas Event?

I keep seeing the date December 8th being thrown around a lot lately. But being that it's December 15th (and yes, I know, major patch on the way in a couple of days), the middle of December, and yet here we are with no Holiday/Christmas event yet.

Are we waiting for the last week of December before we start this SE? Really? Cutting it awfully close.

I could have swore XI had a New Years event too, but it's been so long I really don't know if I'm remembering that correctly. I would imagine XIV to keep up with the same time of year events since both are JP SE Final Fantasy MMORPGs.

So just when are we getting this event? Right after the patch? Later?

Yes, you missed the memo somewhere. Christmas event is starting on 12/18 (day after the patch).

Okay then, thanks guys. Not sure why I kept seeing Decemeber 8th in a lot of older stuff, was that the projected date, I assume before the 2.1 delay?

8th december would be too early for a christmas event.

no christmas event.... even santa is now homeless because even he can't afford a small house in eorzea now!!!
