So.. who's leveling a SCH?

My whm was fine. I had fun with it even though in the back of my mind I felt that sch healing was good after factoring utility, but the fairy was just such a pain. I had my whm dps, it was more fun, and in my opinion challenging, to manage my mana/threat. Otherwise healing can feel a little like "whack-a-mole."

But I can't deny that now sch healing is just better when dealing with st (dmg reduction, aldo shields plus physic/embrace and of course... lustrate). The fairy aoe regen is going to be better in most situations that actually require aoe regen and its free (even Titan tumults are on a 1 min timer). And while the whm medica 2 change is interesting and does allow for some other uses... now burst healing will require two medica where medica 2 was often enough.

The mana and threat "management" for SCH... well I don't need to say much on that.

I love my whm, but I think its gonna happen. I'm finally going to go sch.

For clarification, i'm not throwing my WHM out the window, its not even a new toon just another job that shares most of my gear. Rather now with current changes and most importantly, fairy fixes, i have the motivation to use the other healing class.

Yeah I'm just too lazy and it ruins my plans...I wanted to have have 1 of each role, already have mostly geared whm...those myth are basically trashed now <.< And still ahve to lvl the other 2 specs so...I'm just wondering if I'll renew my sub when it expires, if changes are so bad as it seems, no. Oh bard was the dps class I'm levelling. I feel trolled twice.

I will gear up sch and see how double sch fares in the new content.

2.1 sch is looking really nice.. It was already more fun and less frustrating then whm but now whm actully has very little over sch .

I actully played sch to begin with in coil. But our fc lack whms so i mained whm. I miss lustrate so much as whm. So many deaths i have had that could of been saved if i had lustrate.
I wanna try miasma2 ,shadowflare, blizzard 2 and bane dots. See fast that kills packs.

I had 2 unique jobs as whm:

Timing cure 2 after death sentence to heal for 1600
But now lustrate will heal more then cure 2 on a paladin and warrior.
Some theorycraft~ well timed physick 1050 +embrace 700 +lustrate 1750-2250 . Blows whm out the water...

Medica 2 before conflags for the hp ticks that heal more then what conflag ticks.
Now eos aoe regen ticks for more then medica 2! yay.

I'm already a WHM/SCH, does it count? :p
I thinks I'll still play WHM, just there will be more situation I'll chose SCH than before

Got not much to say, because it won't stop you from switching to SCH, so i wont bother with it :).

I wonder though, what got nerfed that is soooooo frustrating that you feel the "urge" to change your class.

Because Medica2 got nerfed?
Because Holy got nerfed?
Because Cure3 got buffed?

Oh well...

Why are you sch getting so mad that some whm are using the armory system as intended to play the new buffed up SCH .

Maybe they want to try playing a job with no mana issues,no threat issues and superior tank and burst healing for a patch.
How does players getting an easy win as a overbuffed healer affect you in anyway?

Lots of paladin tanks are switching to warrior as well. Scholar heals warrior way better then white mage . Since they have lustrate 25% of max hp healed.

I've already discussed it with my Coil group's other healer, I will be switching to SCH because of the nerf to Medica 2 and lolbuff to Cure3. I went through the japanese forums and they are pretty much on the same page as us, upset over the WHM changes. We now bring nothing to the table that a SCH can't, I guess only WHM mains can see that though since ya know we actually play the class.

I find rather annoying to see ppl switch their class to the one that gets buffed...

On a side note I think that the lustrate buff is rather unnecessary.

But well, as I said before, i won't try to change your mind and let you do your thing :>
