Main quest bug

Hello. I am having similar problems as people on other worlds. I am unable to accept the level 39 quest "the best inventions" from cid. This is on the goblin world. Other people on my world are experiencing the same problem. I have done all quests leading up to this one. He has the main quest icon above his head but anytime i try to talk to him, nothing happens. I have tried restarting my ps3, leveling up, doing oother quests, anything i can think of. I have already submitted a bug report in game. Thanks!

I have been having this same issue since last night on the PC, on the world Goblin.

Edit: The emergency maintenance fixed the issue, thank you!
