who thinks square enix is baiting gil buyers/sellers And occupancy limit?

two things,

1. anyone else thinks that square enix is baiting gil buyers/sellers? so they can get rid of those tainted gils?

2. What is the Occupancy limit of this different tiers of housing? ( ie, bedrooms, how many bedrooms! and correct me if this was already announced )


think about it this way, if a buyer did buy, then goes to buy house, SE confirms the gil then audits its source, it should lead them to the player with the gil bank.

....or even more cynically, one could also believe that SE have some financial interest/stakes in the gil sellers. They profit, and clean up the cheats, all at the same time.

actually, now you mentioned that, i would not be be surprised if it were true. i mean think about it, what portion of the entire subs that currently subs are from rmts. ( including those who constantly get deleated and buy more games to continue )

SE is punishing legacy servers for a 1.0 exploit.

Or another interesting thing I've read (and it wouldn't surprise me) is that they are purposefully making housing prices ridiculous so they don't have to open many servers. Because, you know, it would be tragic if they had to upgrade their servers or something...

yup that too. i dont know how long have you have been playing, but in back in the relase of 1.0, they were issues with how much things were sold on NPCs. i dont remember if SE did ever took action in removing gil, but were talking about low level items, that can be killed by a level 1 player and npc it for more than 2k gil each. SE did eventually rebalance how much they were npc it, but i heard players took advantage of it and manage to make a lot of gil back then.

I wouldn't be surprised if SE were the gil sellers themselves after this, i mean, it would be marketing genius! Sell your players shit that they could get on their own, then make it almost a necessity to have to buy it! SE you sneaky rascals you!
But honestly, 6.4m for the smallest shittiest house on my server is insane, and Adamantoise is the 2nd cheapest! SE wat r u doin?
