Hot topics bug

There is a bug where the hot topics only displays old threads that aren't really active.

The most active posts are complaints now ... with hundreds of more replies than any of the threads shown in the hot topics section.

The view counts also seem to rise even though they aren't properly being shown in the hot topics section.

Perhaps the code for picking out what is displayed in the hot topics section is bugged?

Sorry, it's not hot topics anymore ... it is popular threads. The popular threads are still not showing up in this section.
