Stat changes to Allagan boots screws up BIS for SMN (maybe BLM)

I am pissed. That means that (for smns at least) our BIS will change. SE changed the stats to pretty much worthless. Spell Speed and Determination? Those are worthless to smns!

So make a new BiS.

No, They changed it because it is the exact same as the Blackmage Myth shoes. But instead of just changing that...they change the one that effects SMN as well. Dumb choices from a dumb balance team

in my case following the bis sets puro strider did just means i need to change my boots since i have the allegan. i donno how good are they for summoner. but changes have been done to all of the allegan gear that had the same exact stats as the myth gear, the healers pants has been changed also and a few others.

Right, because we have a wide range of gear to choose from. Yes, there is worthless stats. Spell speed... If you have played a blm then you would know that SMNS speed are amazing as it is. Determination, there is another thread here that talks about determination. Pretty much the "added benefits" are nulled because the percentage that would have been added to our damage is less than 1 it is reduced to 0.

Summoner was already bottle necked to crap with gear because of Garuda's stupid accuracy cap of 450. (without food)

You need accuracy so pick the boots that give you accuracy. Why aren't you crying about the gloves? It's accuracy and spell speed, and I'm sure you didn't have too much of a hard time making that decision when it was time to pick one.

I don't think you know what worthless means.

They didn't make a change to the gloves, so why would he be upset? What they DID change means you have LESS options to the ACC cap, which is really just dumb, and makes it harder for SMN to get out of the DL cowl. I get it, your setup didn't include the Allagan boots, but I'm pretty sure every single SMN that did now has to go buy myth ones to hit acc cap. Also, wtb crit now.

Like I said in the other post : because we have the choice only between allagan gloves and myth gloves. Myth gloves are better.

We had choice between allagan boots and myth boots. Allagan boots are better.

You can't just screw ONE class to benefit an other one when you could've just change the BLM's myth boots.
