Edit I think your right, upon getting the mantle you loose it permanently if your inventory is full. This needs changed
Yes this as been a concern for alot of players, i'm pretty sure SE are aware of it.
well 1.0 had a great loot list bag where you could a) decide what you even wanted dropping into your inventory, and b) could quickly get rid of $hit to make room for new items. i miss this!
Inventory management is a game unto itself.
As an aside, wouldn't it be really cool if we had a Resident Evil 4-style inventory? *crickets chirp*
You can also have your inventory slots displayed on your hud.
We have our inventory slots to do with them as we like as well as have a small overview of free space in the HUD and there's the armoury for gear (only). We need a safety net +1 ? It could be like in 1.0 (which often times made people lazy to manage their inventories in general + there once were bazaars for +++ lazy storage) or we could just pay more attention before battles we, now, tend to rush in without a single worry in the world. I've yet to lose a single item, even the worthless random lv1 mat drop from mobs o_O
With all due respect, you had a treasure pool that opened up in FFXI if your inventory was full, even if it was solo, and you were killing mobs with a full inventory. You never simply just 'lost' an item even in that game.Quote:
In FFXI you didn't even get a warning that your inventory was almost full.
As someone with gear for every class/job, with extra gear on hand to level into, and with all DoH maxed while keeping a rather large stock of items to craft/sell, I feel it's safe to say that people with inventory issues just simply aren't even trying to manage their inventory properly.
