Tanking turn 5 twin

Hi guy's I just wanted to know some tips and how I could pop my cool downs for this fight I have a pally and war so if you leave post for either that would be great than you.

Hard times.

Prob best to wait until Patch 2.1, then just pop WAR's Inner Beast before each Death Sentence for +20% mitigation each time.
(I hear that's what all the cool kids are doing...) ;)

IIRC PLD can't save a cooldown for each one due to cooldown recharge time, so the safest way is either Tankswap or Stoneskin spam (or dive into Conflags).

we had summoner/blm/scholar taking turns on virus. hope this helps for death sentence. That frees up tank defensives for other things.

Not going to work shortly (Virus rotations) as virus targets are getting a 60 second immunity in 2.1:

"When the effect of Virus expires, enemies will now be granted the effect Antibody, making them immune to the effects of Virus for 60 seconds."

What kind of damage is Death Sentence if I may ask ? eye for an eye if its physical, Eos + mitigation otherwise. Use mantra / convalescence prior death sentence so the incoming adloquium you re about to receive will be at a higher amount, that kind of things

You shouldn't have to lean on Virus anyways. I've found that timing Death Sentences with Conflags make that phase a breeze for everyone, especially the healers.

Death Sentences hit harder after Divebombs, and you can't dodge them at that point by running into Conflags. You gotta learn to deal with them with some form of mitigation eventually (or use WAR in 2.1 if it's as good for the fight as it looks).

Right, which is why I specified that phase. So eventually you're gonna have to pop a CD or SS yourself when Virus isn't up.

The second half of the fight will be a complete joke as WAR now, I've been tanking sub 50% twin for a month and the new changes are going to make it incredibly easy. Guaranteed 20% reduction for every DS/the defiance buff, ez game.
