Returning 1.0 player..DO i need to do all these quest from the start?

Do i need to grind threw all these quest?? or where do i need to be at lvl 40 everythings changed so much since relaunch IM LOST!!!!!!!!!!!Didn't get to test the beta out much so im pretty lost :/

Through* not threw*. And yes you need to start at the start quest and work your way through the new main story and class/job quests.

uhm, maybe you could be more specific?

Class quests are new, you need to do these to unlock certain skills. The job quests are not strictly required to unlock your job abiltiies if you already did it in 1.0, but they do need to be done again if you want to do the relic quest.

The main story is brand new and you do need to follow it in order to unlock the various dungeons and content.

They're completely new. Not sure why you wouldn't want to. You have the advantage having a higher level to also evade some content if that's your style.

Honestly, you need to do all that stuff anyway to relearn your job. Having to go through all those dungeons to progress the storyline really helped me get acclimated to the changes.

PS Don't FATE grind if you actually want to learn how to play.

What I'd recommend, is what I did, Run through the new main quests on a job you don't have at 50. you'll cap it out by the end, and then have two classes at 50 ready to go! I entered ARR with a 50 WHM. Switched to Thaumaturge, and now I have a 50 BLM from running through the 2.0 story.

finish main story #1, do class quest there skills at lv15 & 30 also need to finish job quest if you want to aim for relic.
thats pretty much opens the game.

Short answer; Yes you need to do every quest again even the Class/job Quests you may have done in 1.0


Start with any of the Meteor quests and that moves you through the story, wb!

THanks for the good infos guys ive just been doing all the Quest i come by havent done any job quest because i really hate that aspect of games just not my cup of tea or is it absolutly needed for end game?
