When Vanity Slots become a thing...

What outfit will you be rocking?

I myself will be rocking my full set of Battle Mage gear for mages myself, though I'm undecided about my tank.

What about you guys? i foresee a lot of swimsuits after Vanity Slots hit...

Dated Cavalier's Chainmail with Dated Bronze Plate everywhere else. On every job. Because heavy armour mages are the shiz.

For Whm: The first AF armor, the level 15 dungeon armor set (I love that hat!), Lightning/Snow outfits, and male miquot starter outfit.
For Bard: Level 15 dungeon armor set, Lightning/Snow outfits, and male miquot starter outfit. I really, really think the starter male miquot outfit is so damn sexy.

Maybe swimsuit...but it's just not super sexy on men. :-(

Not to burst your bubble Aegis, but if I remember correctly, you won't be able to wear other class' clothing. For instance, if you're a mage, you can't wear the armor pieces of a warrior.

I'll be wearing whatever I like that the masses don't wear. I don't like looking like a clone in RPGs...

I'll be tanking in the Vermilion set (WP rusty tank set), crested tower shield, with the Frostbite.

I've done this in lotro for years and thought it was freaking hilarious getting random people to yell at me for being a 'noob' running around in starter gear. the irony was too much

Indeed, but at the start of version 1 all classes could wear all gear. When they revised the armour system about half-way through version 1 the old gear gained the prefix 'dated', and could not be crafted anymore, but the existing items were left in the game. At release of version 2 all stats were taken off the armour. but it was still left in the game. I've already had my BLM wearing plate mail for laughs, but the lack of any stats means it's only been for novelty town-gear value.

Soon I will be able to be running coil as a battlemage (or more likely, battle bard).

This. I REALLY like the design of this armor. Looks like it's made of dragon scales, and I like how it's almost like snake skin with its plating.
