Making the repair ability more useful by allowing small buff.

Trying to make crafting a bit more useful and I think that if getting your gear repaired by yourself or a non npc actually gave a small +1 stat boost to the stats on that gear,many more ppl would actually want their gear repaired by crafters instead of npc.

Perhaps a 30min buff not much but if u get ALL of your gear repaired by a crafter then it would be worth it.

Currently I don't even believe that the repair gear ability that is already in the game is even being used at all except by ppl who may just be repairing their own gear.

Been playing this game since its new launch and I have not once ever seen a "LF gear repairs" shout.

A small change it would be yes but the more baby steps we take to making crafters more useful the better.

That could be an idea or just let crafter repair all their gears if they have crafting leveled without switching class would be good too. I hate having to switch between classes to repair mine so most of the time it's the repairer NPC.

What a useless ability, only way I can see this even really being useful to me is if you could do it mid dungeon but hey.. youc an't...because you can't switch classes to do it.

You can't repair other people's gear, so that's why you haven't seen any requests for it. Besides, its not a whole lot cheaper to repair it yourself. It IS cheaper yah, but you have to change to each crafting class for each piece of gear, plus weapons which could be spread between 3-4 different classes. So inconvenient when I can just go to an NPC and hit "Repair all"

It is 120 Gil cheaper than Quick Repair for EACH piece

When you whole equip is broken it will cost you 2400 Gil

When you buy Grade 5 to repair yourself 80G each piece it will cost you 960 Gil

2400-960 = 1440 Gil saved each time you repair a whole set

Not much buy hey why not
