Used Fantasia, Time on "Buff"?

I used my Fantasia at long last, after much internal conflict. I noticed that you have the option upon logging in to change your race through the sub-command menu.
My question is, does anyone know how long this option will remain available? If I decide to stay my current race a little longer and continue to log in as such, will the option to change my race remain available upon logging in? Will the option cease to be available after a set amount of time has passed?

Available until you use it.

It won't go anywhere, i've had flagged characters that have just been sitting there since early September and they're still flagged.

When you /do/ decide to use it, make sure to remove all your armour and then right-click > edit apperance on the log-in screen.

You can create another character to test it on that new character first.
