Character Xfer Gil Limits

So I've played on my server these past several months and have accumulated a couple million gil through hundreds of hours of crafting, farming, and grinding. Recently I came in contact with some friends that I've played previous MMO's with and found out they were all playing together on a different server. So I look into paying your $18 dollars for a server transfer only to be told I can only transfer 1 million gil on character + 100k per retainer and the rest will be deleted. That is just plain stupid. Yet I can create multiple characters and transfer gil to each of them and wait 3 days for my new created characters before I transfer my main and all my mules to circumvent you're idiotic restrictions. :rolleyes:

I understand the purpose of preventing RMT accounts moving large amounts of gil around but 1 million gil restriction is absurdly low considering the life of the game so far and the amount of players that have accumulated well over 1 million by just playing your game within the rule set.

I wouldn't doubt the RMT accounts already have characters on every server running bot programs and have already accumulated the gil they try and sell. So I doubt the restrictions are doing much more then just being an inconvenience and costing you $$ by deterring someone who's accumulated more gil then your proposed restrictions.
