24 Hour Maintenance

This isn't a negative thread whatsoever; it's more a "HOLY BAJEEBUS I'm excited" one. They're putting in so much content that it will take them an ENTIRE DAY to put it all in. Color me excited.

That's all hardware and infrastructure upgrades that will take the entire day. In terms of in game content, you're looking at 6-8 hours most likely to patch it all in and test it real quick.

Nothing too crazy here.

Haha, I'm sorry to disappoint you.

I'm just getting nightmares because I have a super slow internet connection. I expect to be able to play again on maybe the 20th... -.-

It may not take 24hours, that is the Max time it could take, but it will most likely be 16-18 hours if everything goes smoothly.

I remember when I was downloading the game... my connection failed at some point, I woke up thinking I'd get to play and found out that I had to start the download again....

The times on this maintenance confuse me SO much. I'm in Eastern timezone. So Pacific wise does it mean the game is down from Midnight Monday (Sunday night essentially) through Midnight Tuesday (Monday night, essentially)? Basically, down all day Monday & Monday night, and back Tuesday by the time we wake up/get home from work?


Wonder when the dl will be available. Hopefully since long period it won't be *as* congested.

Yeah, I understand time conversion and that Pacific is 3 hours behind me and GMT is 5 hrs ahead. I've been doing that conversion for years playing XI and 1.0. It's just THIS Maint period that has me confused which is why I specifically asked in layman's terms what it means. Will the game essentially be down MONDAY for those in the US? It's the 00:00 that throws me off, I know that's midnight/12:00 a.m. but as to what day it applies for my timezone is confusing to me. Honestly, I initially figured it to be game down TUESDAY but I think it's Monday. Didn't ask for a timezone calculator. ._.
