It´s Probably Pirates

Hey, guys! Fairly new player here, currently on the quest called It's Probalby Pirates. You see, i've been stuck on this for some time besause the duty finder doesn't find anyone to party with. I've tried waiting for like 40 minutes several times, and still nothing. If you don't know the quest, it is the one were you have to do the dungeon called Sastasha. I would love to just do it so i can continue with the main scenario. Thanks in advance! ;)

Try using /shout to shout for a Party in the area. If that doesn't work you just need to bare with Duty Finder and do other stuff in the meantime whilst you wait.

Welcome to dungeons. As an archer, that's something you're going to have to live with. Some people report queues typically from 45 mins to 2 hours.
That's what damage dealers have to put up with. If you were a tank or a healer, you'd have nearly instant queues into dungeons.
Try and find something else to do while you're waiting. Kill some monsters, do your hunting log, try crafting or gathering etc.
Also, try to get a Free Company to help you, or shout for people like the above post said!

If you haven't already, try enabling all 4 language options at the top of the Duty Finder menu. It usually helps with queue times.

Just to clarify, a 40 minute wait time for a Damage Dealer (DD) is pretty standard. In fact, it's a bare minimum. When you see dungeons coming up as requirements for the Main Story, make sure you have something else to do while you wait in the queue. Gathering and crafting are awesome time spenders for this. You can also hunt down a few mobs from your Hunting Log or finish exploring some maps (harder to do on lower levels since some foes will straight out one-shot you).
As the others have said, the best solution is always to queue up with a tank or healer to cut down on the waiting time, wether he's from your FC, an LS or just someone you met after a /shout, but that not's always possible. Just be ready to spend some time in the queue and it won't be such an annoyance.

yeah, i'm afraid you'll have to
a) find a healer or a tank to queue up with or
b) wait for a longer time, especially in low level dungeons
the duty finder works, it's just a pain to use as a damage dealer. I hope this gets better with the patch coming out in a week, they will add incentive to run random lower level dungeons for high level characters.

atleast 3 times a day me and my friends try to que for Sastasha-Haukee as a healer/tank pair to try and help people get through them since they are all required to get through the story mission (an no we dont rush players through them) its not much but there are only a few of us that can do it
