[DEV] Race Change - Will it be implemented?

Short question, and I have searched and not found a concrete answer yet:

We will be getting a Race Change option at any point in the near future?

The reason I ask is that I have moderate progression on this character, and have kind of reached a point where I wouldn't really want to do it all again on a Lalafell, but I picked Elezen this time round because I was tired of being short.

The problem is that I have no connection to my character now. I used to love my lil blonde haired taru in XI, and made the mistake of not being one this time around.

So long story short, community reps, any chance of any progress on the Race Changing options mentioned by the devs a while back please?

(Also ignore the signature, that thing hasn't updated in months, im 43THM with a tonne of mid level crafts now, and most classes in the 20+ area)

Maybe a one time thing around the time they implement the missing genders for mi'qote, highlander and roegadyn. I think Yoshi-P said via dev tracker once that he would think about it.

ya as Veasna said. And that will be the only time. I dont see them implementing a race change option naturally in the game.

You should change that to "Will we..." I thought it was an answer at first glance.

I wonder if all of those poor boys playing miqo'te will be also be able to switch to the male side once implemented? ^-^

Would love to change from Sunseeker to Moonkeeper.

I think it would be right for them to give people the option to switch races when they bring out the new races. I dont know how they would do it but i could imagine perhaps they could mark all activated characters with a one time option to reselect race after maintenance/update is finished. It would go a long way to pleasing players both active and inactive. From a personal point of view im quite happy being a Plainsfolk Lalafell so i probbably wouldnt use it.

I think implementing the one-time change like others have suggested when they bring forth the new additions to the races sounds like a good idea. People can change really quickly and no one has to bicker about it. I myself wouldn't change races, because I look great the way I am <primp>.
