Hey, you! Yes, you! Are you friendly, awesome, or just love helping people out? Well, I've got just the thing for you! I've just started playing this game and having someone to help me with things would be wonderful. I'm only level 4 and I play in Diablos or whatever it's called :p. My character's name is Jessy Monk. Well, I can't really help on Diabolos, but if you ever think about moving, consider Leviathan server. We have a LS designed to help newbies/lowbies and to help network. At last count, we have somewhere north of 60 members in there. Just post here if you're ever interested.

Otherwise, the forum is a good place to check, as is Ul'dah and western thanalan. Those are popular places for fc recruitment for lowbies like yourself. If you want someone to post something in the diabolos forum for you, just ask. I'm sure there's some players who haven't reached their posting limits here.

Welcome to Eorzea Jessy! Like the previous posters, I play on another server (Ridill specifically) so I can't actually offer you in-game help like offering you a linkshell or Free Company invite, but any questions you have about the game, please, feel free to ask! The game is designed in such a way specifically for new players like yourself hence the best advice is not to be in a hurry to get to 'end game' - you'll miss out on so much in the meantime.

If levelling gets too grating, take a wander around the zones surrounding your city and see how far you can explore without attracting dangerous wildlife!

The detail Square Enix has put into each zone is staggering, and not only that, as you explore the map, you gain exp when you discover a 'new area, and completing each map (which fills in as you explore) gives you bonus exp and an achievement! So it's definitely worth exploring each map at least once. :D

But really, the most important thing to remember, is to have fun! That's the whole point of playing this game after all, for enjoyment - sure you can treat it like a job, but where's the fun in that?

Jessy, if you want help feel free to make a character on Lamia, myself and my FC are all about helping people out. So if you do make a character on Lamia feel free to send me a tell if you have questions.

I'm on Diabolos, and can travel between city-states. If you still need help, let me know! I also have a few low-level characters around Ul'dah that won't take away from you getting the exp. you need, or answer and questions. I'm probably the only person who cannot help with a Free Company, however. The one I was with went completely dead, but FC's are definitely very helpful in cases like this!

Jessy, even though we are not on your server, feel free to ask any questions on here and i am sure many would be more than willing to take a few minutes and reply to you and try to help in any which way, me included.
