Hello! I just wanted to make aware to the team that the following abilities have incorrect help text and/or translations:
Foe Requiem:
What it says it does: "Reduces elemental resistances of all enemies by 10%."
What it really does: "Increases all incoming magical damage by 15%."
It does not work with any other non-magic elemental attacks (such as Dragonfire Dive or Windbite) but it does work with non-elemental magic attacks (ACN/SMN/SCH).
Alternatively, the non-magic elemental abilities may be bugged and are not working with this song.
Fists of Earth:
When hovering your mouse over the applied buff icon you will receive the 1.23 text of: "MP is being consumed to convert attacks to earth attacks and grant a bonus to physical defense."
Fists of Wind:
When hovering your mouse over the applied buff icon you will receive the 1.23 text of: "MP is being consumed to convert attacks to wind attacks and grant a bonus to movement speed and weaponskill recast times."
Fists of Fire:
When hovering your mouse over the applied buff icon you will receive the 1.23 text of: "MP is being consumed to convert attacks to fire attacks and grant a bonus to attack power"
I hope these mistranslations (or bugs if they are not working as intended) are fixed speedily as they can cause a fair amount of confusion amongst players. Thank you for your time!

When you reduce resists by 10%, you wind up increasing damage by more than 10%. That's just how math works. I'm not 100% sure if that's one of the points you were getting at, but the 10% number is probably correct.

The amount of resistance lowered would vary on the level of the monster if it was working as intended and should produce differing increases in damage. This is on top of the fact that if the song did indeed lower elemental resistances then attacks like Dragonfire Dive and Windbite would see an increase in damage as well but they don't.Quote:

The damage difference would be static regardless of level/resistance. Now, if it really is a 15% increase instead of 11%, then yeah something's probably wrong. And I don't disagree about the magic/non-magic bit. Just trying to work out the percentage stuff, but I haven't seen any testing on it.
Also, I could be doing my math wrong. /shrug -

When I was testing Inner Beast I was hitting level 1 monsters for exact figures every time without variance (roughly 20 uses). I could have just gotten "lucky" but I doubt it. I assume the same would happen with magic attacks. Eventually you should hit a stat plateau where you will deal a static amount of damage but Foe Requiem should continue to give the bonus damage. I'll test this out tomorrow to make doubly sure on level one monsters (not training dummy).Quote:

I suspect it is meant to say "magic resistance" rather than "elemental resistance".
