Changing to WAR since is the new OP tank

Who is leveling WAR before 2.1 so the aren't left in the dust?

I know I won't be one of those PLD suffering by our new tank overlords.

Why can't people play the classes they enjoy rather than what's the best?

My job is arguably the least used, but it doesn't gate me from content. I enjoy it, and I like excelling at it. There will be a role for both PLD/WAR.

The problem is PLD is already boring, all it had is that it was the superior tank.

Not only now WAR is superior, is also more fun.

Anyone that believes WAR will be ZOMGOP is either naive or a sad individual.

WAR isn't going to be superior, Mr. FoTM OP.

Still behind on eHP, still no real invulnerability (Holmgang is going to be a nightmare for healers), still going to have less defense and mitigation

PLD are still going to be better MTs, but now they have competition.

Great, an influx of more wanna be tanks to flood the role with.

That's my initial reaction.

Second is, I hope you guys don't fate grind because WAR isn't as cookie cutter as PLD.

So... WAR will be much better at tanking than PLD will in 2.1? I somehow fail to see this happening, rather, what I believe is WAR and PLD will be just as good as each other so both jobs won't be neglected to be brought into content or runs or anything.

Won't really know until the patch is out, but I doubt they'd make it so unbalanced that WAR makes PLD obsolete or something.

But, it's fine if you want to switch jobs. I've tried most of the classes in the game and they're all fun to me. I agree with Zezlar, play whichever job you enjoy most, there will always be a role for all the jobs.
