Bard Question
Hello,
Just a quick question about DPS'ing in WP and AK with my bard. Now assuming that the party isn't mass pulling and the monster groups are 2-4 mobs should I be:
- Using AOE?
- sticking poison arrow and windbite on all mobs and focus targeting them down after with the bloodletter CD reduction procs? (I would always be using bloodletter while sticking the two DOTs as well)
- Single targeting mobs down 1 at a time?
Just want to know what is more efficient damage wise as well as what is better for party management. In mass pull situations with >3 mobs I know AOE is the way to go for obvious reasons but I do see a lot DPS using AOE constantly.
My gear is relic, 5X ilv 90, 2X ilv 70 gryph accesories, remaining DL if that makes a difference.
Thanks!

Bard AoE actually isn't more efficient than tab dotting until you hit 5 enemies.
So for non-speedruns, AoE is almost never the way to go in a light party dungeon.
Tab dotting is generally the most efficient way to handle small trash pulls, especially if the other DD is AoEing, and your tank has no problems holding AoE hate.
If your tank is having trouble holding aggro and the other DD is AoEing, then it's probably most efficient for the group if you run Ballad as much as you can and tell him to use flash more often, tell the healer to throw in some damage, and continue to tab dot. Tab dotting can get you fairly close to 20% more dps than just resigning yourself to single target anyway, so you'll still be doing around the same amount of total damage while also helping the tank to hold threat and getting some extra dps out of the healer.
Really the only circumstance when I think you could argue that it's "most efficient" to single target is if the other DD is single target AND the tank has trouble with AoE threat. : /

Tab dots and focus fire to highest hp mob.
