No Sound Upon Login

Since launch I have noticed that if I clicked anywhere aside from the "Login" and "Play" buttons (using tab to cycle through to enter username/password/one-time password) that once the lobby screen opens, there is no sound. If I continue to go beyond the lobby screen into character selection - still no sound. On login into the game itself there is still no sound.

At first this was an intermittent issue but is happening more often now. Also, now instead of only happening when I click "outside" it happens numerous times before being able to login with audio present; regardless of what I do. I have tried running in both user and administrator modes and the problem persists in both cases.

What can I do?! :)

Are you sure that the clicking and the missing audio are related?
Does windows' mixer show ffxiv volume and any audio output (the moving vertical green bar)?

It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
